Valerie Norris is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is a reverend, author, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker currently residing in Baltimore City.

Valerie is currently the Senior Pastor of Bethel, A.M.E. Church (Port Deposit), where she serves as Senior

Pastor. Prior to her assignment at Bethel, she serves as Co-Pastor at Mt. Zion for two years under the

leadership of Rev. Dr. Bess McAllister. Valerie also served under Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant for 18

years at Empowerment Temple, A.M.E. Valerie has served on many ministries and her primary ministry

is spreading the gospel to all, but her focus is also on helping woman to become empowered, equipped

and encourage to move into their God given purpose.

Valerie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Ministry,

a Master of Divinity and is currently working on her Doctorate degree at the Liberty University, Rawlings

School of Divinity, Seminary.

She is the author of the book “Walk A Mile in My Journey, Life Affirmations, which she self-published.

Valerie is the mother of two children and two grandchildren. Valerie retired from the Federal

Government as a senior management official in the Office of Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity after 33 years.

Valerie is a Woman of God on fire for the Lord, who is dedicated to her faith, family, and her community at large.
